Herm Edwards Joins MLFB

(OTCQB: MLFB) (“MLFB”, the “League” or the “Company”), a new, professional spring-football league scheduled to kick off in 2016, today announced former NFL head coach and current ESPN NFL analyst, Mr. Herm Edwards, has joined Major League Football as the League’s and Management Team’s Senior Advisor.

Herm Edwards will serve as the Company’s and League’s Senior Advisor to provide advisement and consultation to members of the Company’s management. In particular, Mr. Edwards will provide guidance on the League’s player development and mentorship to athletes. Mr. Edwards will also attend MLFB games and support other league activities during the length of his initial agreement with Major League Football.

About Herm Edwards

As a standout performer for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1977-1985, Edwards came to prominence by a singular play that would ultimately define his NFL career. With his team trailing 17-12 against the New York Giants with just a few seconds reaming on the clock, Edwards scooped up a fumble by veteran running back, Larry Csonka and waltzed into the end zone for the game winning touchdown in what has been tabbed, “The Miracle in the Meadowlands.” Of course Herm Edwards had a very successful career as a scout, assistant coach and head coach in the NFL with the New York Jets from 2001-2005 and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2006-2008. Since he left coaching, Herm Edwards has been a staple on ESPN Television and ESPN Radio offering his unique insight into the game of professional football. Mr. Edwards was also one of the first recipients of the NFL’s ‘Minority Coaching Program’ that gave former NFL players the opportunity to develop their coaching skills at the NFL level. He also very active in the Monterey County, CA community where he lives through the Herm Edwards Youth Foundation. In 2013, Herm was named as the Walter Camp Man of the Year for his numerous contributions to the game of football.
