Last week we finalized the 70-man drafted rosters for each coach, but the word “finalized” doesn’t mean those are the only players who will be going to training camp.
Today is the beginning of MLFB’s free agency period. Each coach will be signing 10 additional players for their team. This stage of the signings will not be announced by pick like the three drafts were. Instead, it will be more like what you’re used to seeing from the NFL; each coach will contact and sign their players as they pursue them. There is no order to when a coach can reach out to a player. It’s all fair game.
The free agency signings will not be made public until all eight coaches have their 10 players. Then, an official list will be posted on MLFBmedia.com.
